NATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF COACHES ASSOCIATION DIRECTORS

The Organization

The National Organization of Coaches Association Directors (NOCAD) was formed in 1990. The mission to help state coaches associations better serve coaches throughout the United States. In June of 1991, NOCAD was incorporated in the state of Oklahoma and the first official NOCAD meeting took place. Twenty three state coaches associations endorsed the articles of incorporation.

Today, 19 years later the NOCAD family consists of thirty-eight state coaches associations and over 140,000 members. The mission remains consistent NOCAD will continue to help generate revenue and provide active support to state coaches associations for the benefit of student related activities and athletic programs.

Commercial General Liability Program

As a membership benefit insurance coverage is provided by the Commercial General Liability Policy issued to NOCAD. The policy will protect each state coaches association and its members (coaches, athletic directors, asst. athletic directors, athletic trainers) from claims made by negligent acts accidentally committed resulting in bodily injury, personal and advertising injury or property damage to others.
